Sometimes it is not the stars who
steal the show. In Nuvola the invisible structure is dominated
by the wood. Reserved yet necessary, it takes a step back.
Perhaps this is the ideal agreement: the indissoluble
combination of weight and lightness.
Nuvola is made of slabs of toughened glass 10 mm thick. At eye level, the bearing structure seems almost non-existent: the main protagonist of the scene becomes the natural element, the wood. The essentiality of Nuvola makes it suitable for any type of setting (classic, modern, country). |

About Ak47: Ak47 is the
identification mark of the machine gun designed in 1947 by Mikhail
Kalašnikov. The choice of this name is provocative, strong and incisive. We appreciate the synthesis and efficacy of the object, taking our distance from the purpose for which it was created, but recognizing its value as a design. The creative artists at Ak47 propose products that are docile, innovative, efficacious and efficient. The intuition of Ak47 is to design and produce furnishing accessories that shun the obvious, venturing into questions that are still unexplored. Wood management is the first theme of the project that Ak47 tackled, but we wished to extend our range as much as possible in order to cover an infinite series of possibilities. Research and innovation, made in Italy for new projects that have not been overworked by the many companies that design and produce in the world. A constant challenge that stimulates, contaminates and fascinates anyone who relates to the Ak47 philosophy. |
